Practical tools and checklists to help you describe the shipment, spot the missing details and ask better questions. Your freight desk is here when you need a hand.

A little help before you ship.

Get the details right.

Two simple tools to help you prepare. No sign-up needed.

01 / Measure it

Freight density calculator

Use the outside dimensions and weight of one fully packed pallet or handling unit. Include the pallet, packaging and anything that sticks out.

Enter your measurements to get cubic feet and pounds per cubic foot.

Different-sized pallets? Calculate each one separately. Density alone does not confirm freight class. The commodity’s NMFC item, handling, stowability and liability can affect classification.
