good things, moving. Let’s talk freight

High-value & specialized freight

There is a lot riding on this one.

Valuable products, sensitive equipment or freight with special requirements deserve a closer conversation. We help identify what needs additional review and coordinate suitable providers before anything moves.

Let’s plan the move

When this might fit.

  • High-value or theft-sensitive goods requiring added planning.
  • Sensitive products needing a defined handling or monitoring plan.
  • Hazardous materials or unusual commodities requiring explicit provider acceptance.

How we help.

01

Understand what needs protecting

Tell us the commodity, value, packaging and handling needs at the quote stage. Carrier identity, compliance and real-world truck activity checks help us look beyond an MC number, while our team reviews operating history and fit for the actual shipment.

02

Discuss visibility and coverage options

For shipments needing added visibility, we can arrange device-based tracking that does not depend only on a driver’s phone. Depending on the device and setup, it can report location, route deviations, light, shock, temperature and humidity. Optional cargo coverage must be quoted and confirmed separately under the applicable terms.

03

Give specialized freight its own review

For hazardous materials, disclose the goods before booking and provide the required shipping information and documentation. The appropriate specialists and providers must confirm acceptance and transport requirements. We do not treat a general rate as permission to tender special cargo.

Good questions.

Before you book.

Is every shipment fully insured?

Do not assume it is. Carrier liability and optional insurance have different limits, exclusions and conditions. Tell us the cargo value and ask about appropriate options before shipment.

Can you arrange cargo sensors?

Yes. We can arrange device-based location and condition monitoring for eligible shipments. The device, sensor data, alert recipients, reporting frequency, fees and response plan need to be agreed before pickup.

How do you vet a carrier?

We review the carrier for the actual shipment rather than relying on one approval at onboarding. Identity, authority, insurance, compliance and real-world truck activity checks can help identify inconsistencies between digital records and physical operations. Our team still applies judgment to the commodity, value, lane, equipment and current risk signals.

Can I send hazardous goods on a regular quote?

No. Disclose hazardous materials before requesting service. The correct shipping information, packaging requirements and provider acceptance must be established before booking.
